Our Los Cabos Half Marathon, offers 21.097 km of history and natural beauties, an incredible route, which includes San Jose del Cabo´s historical downtown, its hotel area and and the astonishing Puerto Los Cabos Marina. Mostly flat, the route includes 2 short slopes which are a challenge, even for the most experienced runner. Our race has definitely one the of the most scenic routes in Mexico. If you are looking for an international winter race, close to the United States, in a premium destination, the Los Cabos Half Marathon is for you!
The half marathon starts at the main square Plaza Mijares continuing to the main Boulevard “Mijares” which leads you to Paseo San José. The route continues to Puerto Los Cabos, going across the marina and the Playita town. Then, it comes back through the same route, and goes to Blvd. Centenario close to the San Jose Estuary to come back to the finish line at the main square “Plaza Mijares”.
The 10K and 5K route was designed to enjoy a family atmosphere, going across San Jose del Cabo´s historical downtown, and Paseo San José (hotel area). The route is totally flat.
The 5K and 10K starts at the main square “Plaza Mijares” continuing to the main Boulevard “Mijares” which leads you to Paseo San José. Then, it comes back through the same route, on Paseo San Jose and finishes at the main square, “Plaza Mijares”.
Los Cabos is located at the tip of the Baja Peninsula and comprised primarily of two towns, San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, that are linked by a 20-mile Corridor lined with world-class resort properties and championship golf. Cabo San Lucas, noted for its vitality and nightlife, offers a variety of attractions, including:
– The Marina, which features 380 slips accommodating vessels up to 200 feet, along with boasting one of the highest quality of services and amenities expected at luxury yachting marinas.
– There is also El Arco, a natural rock formation in the shape of an arch which lies adjacent to Playa Del Amor (Lover’s Beach) where couples can stroll hand in hand when the tide is low.
In Cabo San Lucas, water enthusiasts can dive and view gardens of black coral and waterfalls of sand as they glide with the sea life under clear, warm water.
