Lodz Marathon

DOZ Marathon Lodz is going to be the Loudest Marathon in Poland. Along the race course there will be 50 cheering points. A new artistic director of the event has also been announced and we are delighted to welcome Piotr Rogucki, the leader of COMA rock band, in our team.

The marathon course will be divided into 7 sections, each featuring another music genre: club music, rock, jazz, folk, pop and various world music. Additional cheering points will be organized by local schools and companies. And of course, we will have our multimedia and loud finish area in the Atlas Arena.

In 2016, Ta record number of nearly 6,000 athletes took part in the marathon race and its side events. The race course led through the city center, incl. Piotrkowska Street, as well as some other representative spots in the city. Finish line was located in the Atlas Arena. DOZ Marathon Lodz has been certified with the IAAF Road Race Silvel Label and the European Athletics’ Five Star Road Race Certificate.
