Run Leicester Festival

The Run Leicester Festival will showcase our wonderful city like never before. Home to an incredible running community, Run Leicester will see thousands of runners take to the streets of our wonderful city in a celebration of all things running. Soak up that race day atmosphere that we have all missed this past year by taking part in the Run Leicester Half Marathon this October and get training because we are back!

Run Leicester is a complete re-invention of the Leicester Half Marathon with a renewed focus on creating a fantastic race atmosphere for all. Starting and finishing at Leicester’s Victoria Park we’ll take you on a tour of Leicester’s city centre streets and beautiful parks on our much-loved original half marathon route. Expect plenty of entertainment to keep you going all around the route as part of this big city event.
