Last One Standing Endurance Run (LOSER)

The Last One Standing Endurance Run (LOSER) is a last one standing event, a 4.7 mile loop that runners will have 60 minutes to complete. If you fail to finish the loop in time you are out, if you finish in time you can continue on when the next loop starts on the hour.

This is a free event so runners will be responsible for their own aid. Water, coffee and some other food type items will be provided but this won’t be a full aid station. You will have access to the kitchen for any food prep you will want.

This event is raising money for Girls on the run. It is not required, but a donation to Girls on the run is encouraged in place of an entry fee.

Each loop will start on the hour. You do not need to start a loop on time, but you have to finish the loop within that hour.

This is a all pavement/road course. It is not a closed course and runners will need to be careful about traffic. You do not have to cross any major roads, but you will be crossing side streets.

Once it is dark all runners will be required to have a light of some sort (headlamp, flashlight) on at all times for safety. The more visible you are to traffic the safer you will be, so having a back flashing light or reflective belt or vest is suggested.

A pacer will not be allowed, but if you have a friend or family member who wants to come do some loops with you I will not stop them.

Support crew is only allowed at the start finish area and not on the course.
Leaving the course: You may leave the course at any point during the loop, but you must return the spot that you left the course before continuing on.

If you come out hoping to get a certain number of miles and fail to finish a loop within the 1 hour before reaching that goal, you will be allowed to continue to run and I will even keep track of your mileage for you. Only the loops completed within the 1 hour cutoff will count toward your final official distance though.
