First of all: Langkawi Half Marathon has got the most beautiful medal! The corporate design of the event including Shirts is just amazing! The race is absolutely perfectly organised! About 3000 runners from all over the world took part in this popular race and it was sold out months before the race. It’s perfect to combine vacations on the beautiful island of Langkawi with the challenge to run a challenging half marathon. Temperatures were above 30 degrees Celsius and due to the humidity and the quite rough course with several uphill parts, it’s really a challenge! Start is at the expo hall close to the airport at 6:30 am. At the expo runners get a free t-shirt, sun lotion and other goodies. At the finish you get another t-shirt (finisher-shirt) and the most beautiful medal ever. Everything is high quality! It was really impressive!
