This was my first time doing this race and it was great experience from start to finish. The pre-race communications were clear & simple, pre-race packet pick up was easy breezy! It was nice that they offered concessions and a discount in the team store while picking up your packet at Dodger Stadium. While the course was challenging with lots of hills outside of the stadium, the heavy home plate-shaped finisher’s medal (which was 2-sided) was totally worth the struggle! The tech shirt was also very nice and the expo had lots of great vendors and activities for the kids. This is a very family-friendly event for both serious runners and walkers. Will definitely do it again next year!

I did both races (10K and 5K). The courses were the same while on Dodger Stadium, the only difference was that the 10K runners got to deal with the hills near Elysian Park. Packet pickup was well organized, I picked mine up race morning. No bag or other items, just a nice tech T and a bib w/ built-in timing chip. The medal was also very nice. Runners got to hang out inside the stadium as well. Overall a great event with great volunteers, just be ready for some hills if you do this.

Overall it was a fun race with lots of enthusiasm but you NEED to do a lot of hill training. Wish it would have started earlier because it got hot real fast. My only criticism is that there was not enough water stations. I would run it again.
