About the Keane Foundation
The Richard M. Keane Foundation was established to create a 9/11 Memorial Sports Center in the Wethersfield community. Richard Keane and two other Wethersfield men died in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center on 9/11/2001. A Sports Center in their memory is a positive and wonderful way to commemorate life’s happy events, as well as to remember lives lost.

Top 2 Males & Top 2 Females in the following age groups: 8 & U, 9-10, 13-15, 16-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+ and wheelchair division.

WES Traveling Trophy for the the Elementary School Running Club with the greatest percentage participation.

Course
Flat USATF 5K Course beginning at Standish Park on Garden Street to Broad Street Green, circling green TWICE clockwise and returning to Standish Park via Garden Street.
