The Lone Pine Half Marathon & 10K benefits John Wayne Cancer Foundation, so every step you take helps advance the fight against cancer through pioneering cancer research and programs. Run in honor of family and friends who have been affected by cancer. Your registration and fundraising efforts make it possible for the John Wayne Cancer Foundation to fund novel and innovative programs that improve cancer patients’ outcomes and save lives through research, education, awareness and support.

This awe-inspiring course goes through the Alabama Hills National Scenic Area and features dirt roads, single track trails, hills and spectacular views of Mt. Whitney. Both loop courses start and finish alongside Movie Road and are chip timed for those that want to race or you can go at your own pace. At the finish line, you’ll be rewarded with a finisher mug and the satisfaction of knowing that you stepped up to the challenge and helped fight cancer! The elevation at Lone Pine is 3,700 feet.

Lone Pine Half Marathon Course TRAIL RATING: BEGINNER This scenic course goes through the National Scenic Area and features dirt roads, single track trails, hills and spectacular views of Mt. Whitney, and provides three full aid stations and two water stations to keep you fueled every step of the way.

Lone Pine 10K Course TRAIL RATING: BEGINNER The 10K course is a shorter version of the Half Marathon with the same amazing views. The course has a full aid and water station for your refreshment that will power you to the finish line.
