Bring the whole family out to participate in the iHelp Foundation 1 mile, 5K, or 10K run. Proceeds go to the iHelp Foundation and participants receive a shirt, refreshments, and opportunities to win several great prizes, including a humanitarian trip with the iHelp team to Antigua, Guatemala. Strollers are welcome and encouraged on the 1 mile and 5K courses.
Saddle up for what could potentially be the hardest 10K your lungs have beheld. The course follows the 5K route up to 300 East where it crosses into Providence Hollow and Little Baldy developments. Here your calves will cramp, the breathing will become labored as you have a constant incline for nearly a mile with a total elevation gain of 500 feet. At the top of the climb you will enjoy a beautiful overlook all of Cache Valley with an awesome view of the Wellsville mountains. Through this stretch you will have a few rolling hills until you find yourself on a downhill pitch on Fox Ridge Drive. After exiting Fox Ridge Drive and coming down Center Street you will encounter your final climb at Center Street and heading up 200 South to Braegger Park where you will complete a small loop around the park. From the park you will come back to 100 North for the final stretch to the /finish line at Gateway Drive.
The 5K loop circles the downtown providence area. at Gateway Drive you quickly find yourself on Spring Creek Parkway for over a mile with slight elevation gain. You then head south towards Center Street and return to the /finish line at Gateway Drive on a downhill pitch for the final mile and a half. This course is on pavement through the entirety of the course and is compatible with strollers.
