They closed up early on packet pick up day. They ran out of men’s shirts, apologized and promised to send them, but never did. They don’t return emails. Course description was mediocre, but race was still fun. Good on course aid and volunteers. UPDATE: the race shirt did finally come in the mail. It was more than two months after the race with ignored interim communication, so I stand by the review, but the shirt did come.

They closed up early on packet pick up day. They ran out of men’s shirts, apologized and promised to send them, but never did. They don’t return emails. The course started downtown but the majority of the course was on rolling county roads. There were no major climbs but the rolling hills were consistent throughout the course. The course did pass by a few small
lakes.
This race was very affordable and, as expected, the bling was modest. The race staff, local law enforcement officers, and volunteers we extremely friendly and very helpful. Despite the low entry fee, the production was very good for this race.
