You’ve just crossed the finish line. You’re surrounded by fellow racers, their supporters, race volunteers and other all-around good humans. You have just been awarded what we humbly think is one of the coolest belt buckles in the ultra marathon scene. And, to top it off you’ve also received a bottle of handpicked whiskey from Laws Whiskey House to commemorate the event. What could be better than that, you ask?
Well, the answer to that question is the 100 mile trail race that got you here. Colorado’s Sawatch mountains offer some of the most spectacular scenery in the land, and our course takes advantages of the best of the best when it comes to views and terrain. Your lungs will burn at 13,150 feet above sea level. Your quads will get trashed while climbing over 24,500 feet of vert. But most importantly, this course will make sure your spirit of adventure and desire to conquer new challenges are always fully nourished.
