Grinnell Games Sprint Triathlon

At the Grinnell Games Sprint Triathlon, enjoy a “jewel” of a course, touring the best of beautiful Grinnell, Iowa. The course is relatively flat and fast with a few rolling hills – looping along the countryside of Grinnell and Grinnell College campus. It’s great for spectators, too! Bring your family and have them cheer you along at multiple points on the course. This race uses chip timing.

This event will feature a 0.5 mile swim at the Grinnell College Natatorium, a 12.4 mile bike ride on the bike trail out to Rock Creek State Park, and a 3.1 mile run through downtown Grinnell. Participate as an individual or a team of 3.

For those participants who aren’t ready to commit to a full sprint, the mini tri is just for you. This race features a 100 meter swim, 5 mile bike, and 1 mile run and is a great distance for all ages. This race uses chip timing.
