A must do marathon for those who want a beautiful challenge! Well organized. Great resources on the course. Stunning location with a beautiful section of the wall to run. The total wall and trail to wall mileage is about 6 miles of the 26.2, but will challenge you with the steep inclines and declines. Be prepared to almost double your traditional marathon time. Autumn weather is perfect (ranging from 34-58 during the day) and has changing fall colors all along the course. This race is the most challenging and rewarding thing I have accomplished. I had a personal best in that I won second for women. I highly recommend it.
