Gosport Half Marathon

The Gosport Half Marathon takes place this November at Bay House Schoolin Gosport, Hampshire. There is chip timing. Race entries tend to be evenly split between Club and non-Club Runners, so there is a good mix of abilities that ensures the race feels busy but rarely crowded.

The race is a venue for the Hampshire Road Race League and unfortunately is not suitable for wheelchair athletes.

The route starts and finishes at Browndown Rd, then has two laps which go all the way along the Seafront at Lee-on-the-Solent. The outward leg is mainly run on cycle-paths and pavement, the return leg goes along the Esplanade. The course is flat save for two short ramps along the Esplanade.
