Gold Coast 50 Run Festival

The main event of the Gold Coast 50 is a 50km run along the footpaths and roads adjacent to the Gold Coast beachfront, one of the world’s most attractive beaches, from Kurrawa to Duranbah & back.

This is one of a handful of officially accredited AIMS-IAAF certified 50 km road races in Australia. The 50 km race carries an IAU label which mean that performances are included in the world rankings.

The run course: 50 km, from Kurrawa to Duranbah & return; 30 km, from Kurrawa to Currumbin & return; 15 km, from Kurrawa to Burleigh & return, 5 km along Hedges Avenue to Seaside Avenue and return. The run course is on either footpath or roadway, not on the beach.
