Global Energy 10K & 5K (Dallas, TX)

The Dallas Global Energy 5K & 10K starts and finishes at Klyde Warren Park, a green space nestled between Uptown and the Dallas Arts District. The course route takes runners through portions of Uptown as they run past the American Airlines Center, home of the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars. After crossing into the Design District, 5K runners will turn back towards downtown while 10K runners will connect onto the Trinity Strand Trail. 10K Runners continue on this urban trail through the Design and Medical Districts before turning around to head back to Klyde Warren Park.

Global Energy Race is for everyone: competitive runners, casual walkers, families, friends, and everyday joggers looking to come out and participate in Bimbo’s healthy, active lifestyle initiative. It is truly a global event; In 2016, Global Energy Race broke the Guinness Book of World Records for the most 10K races held simultaneously worldwide on the same day!

Bimbo Bakeries is also proud to partner with local area food banks during September (Hunger Awareness Month). For every kilometer completed by participants, 2 slices of bread will be donated to North Texas Food Bank to support the local Dallas community. Every step helps feed someone in need.
