Gauntlet 8K Trail Race

Welcome to the Gauntlet 8K Cross Country Race at Pima Community College West Campus. This is a challenging 8K Cross Country race/run/walk on “The Gauntlet” course on the campus trails just north of the college. This will be an afternoon race with separate men’s and women’s races. Expect to put your toughness to to the test on these fun but at points techinical trails! The women’s race will be at 4:45 and the men will start at 5:30.

This is a rugged course on the desert trails of Pima College West Campus. The event will take place on the track, and we will have an awards ceremony at about 6:45 in the infield grass. Awards are in 10 year age groups for men and women. Trophies will be awarded along with gift certificates to The Running Shop.

Please bring a blanket and some snacks (or a full blown picnic dinner) to hang out after the race. Although we had a little trouble with the food trucks, we will be serving snacks after the event. We will have a kids dash on the track after the events for all kids 10 years and under.
