Gallatin Valley Earth Day Run – Run for the Sun

Gallatin Valley Earth Day, Big Sky Wind Drinkers and the BHS Solar Schools Club bring you “Run for the Sun”. Join for a 5K run benefiting the Bozeman High School Solar Club’s drive to install solar panels on Bozeman schools!

Are you looking to get in a quick run before attending the Earth Day in the Parks activities? Looking to help aid a great cause of installing renewable energy sources at Bozeman schools? Looking to just run an in-person race again, after a long break? Then the brand-new Earth Day “Run for the Sun” 5K is what you’ve been looking for! (Note: For those of you NOT looking for an in-person event, we have you covered, too!)

The run starts on the south side of the Gallatin Regional Park, directly across Oak Streeet from the Yellowstone Avenue intersection. The course wanders 5 kilometers around the park’s lakes, playground, and other recreational facilities, and finishes with an exciting climb up and over the sledding hill just before the finish!
