Florida Road Races really knows how to put one on. They are timely (which is always appreciated), organized, responsive, and respectful (especially during COVID times). The races courses are nice … MORE
Florida Road Races really knows how to put one on. They are timely (which is always appreciated), organized, responsive, and respectful (especially during COVID times). The races courses are nice and spread out. In my experience, the runners are all very respectful and make room for faster/slower participants. Overall they are worth every penny for runners of all levels.
Downside…I wish the races held at Ft DeSoto (in September and October) started earlier. Especially for runners in the long distance races. The morning portion is nice and shaded…but when that sun comes up around 8am…it is BRUTAL on that course. There is no shade and barely a breeze.
