Fig Tree Half Marathon

The Fig Tree Half Marathon or 10km starts and finishes at the lake Morris kiosk on Lake Morris Rd, Cairns. The half marathon follows a route from the Lake Morris kiosk, across the dam wall and along Clohesy River Rd to a turnaround point at the Fig Tree. The 10km runners turn around at the first creek crossing.

There are three other races on the same weekend and over the same course, but with varying distances: The 3 Marathons in 3 Days, the Cairns Marathon and the 16km Lake Morris Race. Transport is available at an additional cost from and back to Cairns Colonial Club Resort.
