Encore Breast Cancer Awareness 5K

The Encore Breast Cancer Awareness 5K brings together an entire community who support this great group of women and their cause in helping others with a breast cancer diagnosis.

The 5K (3.1 mile) race starts at the YWCA and runners will witness the beautiful fall foliage as they travel through Cumberland Township. Medals are presented to first- and second-place men and women in the following age groups: 13 and under, 14-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70 and older.

For those who do not live in Adams County, the fall is a beautiful time to visit Gettysburg and tour the Gettysburg National Military Park. The National Apple Harvest Festival – a great event for the entire family – occurs the same weekend as the race and is only a short drive from the YWCA.
