Emotions In Motion: 5K for Mental Health Miami

Emotions In Motion: 5K Run/Walks take place in communities like yours across the country, with the proceeds benefiting Suicide Awareness Voices of Education (SAVE). By participating in one of SAVE’s 5Ks you will be raising money for SAVE’s many educational programs to prevent suicide through public awareness and education, reduce stigma and serve as a resource for those touched by suicide.

This year’s 5K will start and end at Tropical Park, Pavilion #10. The route is wheelchair and stroller accessible. We will have 4 Volleyball games starting at 11:30am, with the championship game starting around 1pm. There is a large playground for kids and adults to have fun along with food, auction, family and friends!!

Depression is a treatable medical illness marked by changes in mood, thoughts, energy and behavior that affects more than 23 million adult Americans each year. It is the most common serious brain disease in the United States.

SAVE’s “Loved Ones” Tent is an opportunity for those to share special photos and written memories of their loved ones with others. We encourage you to bring a non-returnable photo of your loved one to the Walk to add to our “Loved Ones” Tent. There will be art supplies to make a picture or write a special message to be displayed in the tent.
