Dusk to Dawn Relay Race

The Dusk to Dawn Relay Race is an Ultra and team relay event on Utah’s Bonneville Salt Flats. The race starts at sunset and ends at sunrise, around a 2-mile loop course.

This unique race is not about beating a time, but a distance. The course is a two mile loop, in which your team (or yourself, if you’re crazy enough to run alone) will see how many miles you can run from dusk to dawn (race start: Friday @ 8:04pm MT; race end: Sat @ 7:06am MT). The team who runs the most miles wins!

Grab your closest friends, family, teammates, co-workers, random strangers (not necessarily advised) and get your team together! Choose how much you’d like to run by creating a team of 4, 6, or 8.

There’s one rule – every runner on your team has to run at least 1 lap (2 miles). Otherwise, you make your own strategy! Decide who will run when, how many laps, who will start, finish, etc. It’s up to you! Get together and figure out how you can run the most miles from dusk to dawn.

We chose this date for a reason – summer solstice + a full moon. Come enjoy the stars, photo ops, and the beauty of the salt flats at night. Music all night! Give our DJ your song recommendations and dance all night. Oh, plus we’ll have glowsticks, swag, and prize giveaways.

Compete against other teams and see how you stack up on our real-time leader board. 2nd place isn’t the first loser, it’s the first partier.

If you decide to take a break during the night, enjoy giveaways, games, music, and friends. A deluxe pancake breakfast is provided at the end of the race, with any donations going to charity.
