Discover Whitewater Series

The Discover Whitewater Series race was initiated by The Greater Whitewater Committee, Inc four years ago. The goal of the race was to promote the city of Whitewater and highlight its greatest features. The Discover Whitewater Series: Half Marathon, 5K, and Fit Kid Shuffle was first held in September 2013. Thanks to the continued support and growing interest, the annual Discover Whitewater Series has proven to be a great success year after year. In four years, the Discover Whitewater Series has been able to distribute over $104,000 to five local organizations in efforts to build a stronger community. This would not have been possible without all the participants and volunteers of the race!

In addition to this challenging course and a well-organized event, the Discover Whitewater Series offers exclusive perks to all those involved. All participants receive and have access to:

* Free pre-race dinner provided by Chartwells the night before the race
* Free pancake breakfast provided by the Whitewater Breakfast Club on race day

In addition to all of these great benefits, top overall Half Marathon finishers as well as age group awards for both the Half Marathon and 5K are distributed! All age group winners will receive a customized drinking glass, and overall Half Marathon winners will receive a purse prize.
