Dearborn Decades 5K

Let’s Get Groovy in the 70’s! Trivium Racing is excited to once again be hosting a 5K in Dearborn at Ford Field Park, and this race is going to be off the hook as we celebrate the 70s! This is a great mid-summer race for all racers getting ready for their “A” race in the fall, and for the casual runner looking for a fun 5K course! This fast and fun USATF Certified Course will give you a great shot at your PR.

During registration, participants will be prompted to sign up as a member of a specific decade. This is whichever decade you most associate with the Dearborn area. If you are not from Dearborn, you can sign up as whichever decade you graduated high school. A winning decade will be crowned based on points scored during the race. Finish times will be age-graded for this special decades category to level the playing field and award the following points for the top finishers in each gender based on the age graded results –

3rd 350
4th 300
5th 250
6th – 100th 248 (descending by 2 points per place)
101st – 160th 59 (descending by 1 point per place)

We will score everyone age and gender graded and see which decade comes out on top!
