Coastal Redwoods Trailfest

The Coastal Redwoods Trailfest is not only a running event but an end-of-season social gathering offering something for everyone. It is a 3-day trail-running festival which takes place in northern California with the coast and redwood groves. Festival HQ will be at Redwood Glen in Loma Mar, CA.

IT’S A GATHERING OF A BROAD GROUP OF PEOPLE WHO SHARE THE COMMON THREAD: A LOVE FOR THE TRAILS.

Each day you will run a segment of trail which highlights the natural landscape. You’ll receive a time for each of the three trails that you run and will receive a cumulative time at the end of the festival on Saturday. We will award top finishers of each course back at HQ at the end of each day. Runners will be assigned a heat which will determine their shuttle pickup schedule from Trailfest headquarters. There are cutoffs. Runners must average a 20-minute mile to avoid being pulled from the course.

THURSDAY: Mt. Tam – 12-16 miles
FRIDAY: Big Basin – 22 miles
FRIDAY: Pescadero – 16.5 miles
SATURDAY: Big Basin – 22 miles
SATURDAY: Pescadero – 16.5 miles

At the end of the day, runners can gravitate towards the social activities that appeal to them most. After a fun day out on the trails, it’s time to kick off your running shoes, sit back and unwind. We’ll have something each night to help you relax and recharge for the next day. We create the environment for runners and non-runners alike to share stories & experiences.

All day and evening activities include – yoga, kids camp, gear demos, elite facilitated trailside clinics, live music, gear swap, guest speakers, slacklining, group runs, and so much more.

Registration Options are as follows:
– Full Access Pass (Thur – Sat): covers full participation in all 3 races and complete access to the Festival, and meal tickets for breakfast and dinner Thurs-Sat.
– 2 Days Pass: allows for full participation in any two courses on Thurs, Friday or Saturday and meal tickets for breakfast and dinner for 2 days.
– Or select any of the courses for a 1 day Pass including meal tickets for breakfast and lunch that day.
– All registrations include full access to all festival activities and an (optional) on-site camping spot with tent if needed.
– Add-ons: For each registration option you can add-on additional camping sites for family and friends. As well as Kids Camp. All Festival activities are free for your non-running family and friends. Meal tickets will be available for purchase on-site.
