The CLE Trail Challenge (no Longer CLE Trail Marathon) will be in the same park (North Chagrin Reservation, AB Williams Memorial Woods), but on a new course with new distances and new pricing.
The 10.5 mile loop course is flatter and faster than before. Mostly dirt and crushed gravel bridle trails, with a small amount of paved trail for good measure. Pavement about 1 mile per loop. Only 2 hills per loop.
You choose how many loops to run. Register for 1, 2, or 3 loops. Same price. Run what you can on race day, no DNFs.
Custom “Running Man” medal to all finishers.
Custom “Running Man Trophies” to top 3 male and female at each distance.
To be eligible for trophies, you must complete the distance that you register for.

I didn’t see the pink flag on a wire staked in the ground, twice, in fact, the first time, there were 4 other runners with me and all of us missed the turn somehow. I dropped out at mile 20 due to the fact it would not count to finish the last loop to complete the 50K.
