Chisholm Trail Parkway Run and Ride

Planned for since the 1960s the long-awaited Chisholm Trail Parkway tollroad connecting Tarrant and Johnson Counties, from Fort Worth to Cleburne, is nearing completion. Dedication events celebrating this epic milestone will occur on Saturday, May 10, 2014 which will include runs and bike rides of various lengths which welcome participation of all ages and abilities.

One time…one time only will we have the opportunity to ride bikes, run, walk or do all three on the actual parkway itself. Soon afterwards, it will open to vehicles, the 28-mile tollroad being fully operational after nearly four years of intense construction efforts.
