Cherokee Harvest Half Marathon

The Cherokee Harvest Half Marathon is a regional favorite and will once again feature its famous swag, scenic courses and amazing post-race food and drink. This race will be run in conjunction with the Cherokee Harvest 5K. The course takes runners through much of Cherokee, including a loop in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park where elk are known to be sighted. The race will start and finish inside the Cherokee Fairgrounds. There are six aid stations on the course, located approximately every two miles. Each station has a portable toilet. The course is USA Track and Field certified (USATF Certificate Number NC19007BDS). All half marathon runners have 3:30 hours to complete the course in order to be provided full police protection and aid station support. Those still on the course at this time will be asked to stay to sidewalks and follow traffic rules. Race officials will stay with all runners on the course to make sure they arrive to the finish line safely.
