My friends and I looked forward to this race and even signed up super early. However, this was the most self-serving race. The expo was super tiny. The only thing in your swag bag was your bib number. The actual course did not go through downtown Canton but through a subdivision. There was not much crowd cheering as in no bands along the way or music. A few neighbors did have their own stereos going and some water from a hose since it was 80°. This was a much hillier course than I was anticipating and there was no announcers to tell you when the race was to start. There was no signage to show you where the race was to start. And my friend had a very hard time finding the shuttle to get to the relay spots. The lack of volunteers was shocking. There were no corrals at the start line. They only had one Pacer for each time for the marathon but not a separate one for the half marathon. The food at the end was a banana and a bag of pretzels. I would not recommend this race to anyone.
