Cancer Chomp 5K

The annual Cancer Chomp is a brain tumor event presented by the Preston A. Wells Jr. Center for Brain Tumor Therapy in conjunction with the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Florida. Cancer Chomp will take place at the Cancer & Genetics Research Complex on the beautiful University of Florida campus. This event will include a 5K run/walk, food truck, Kid Zone, charitable organizations, community vendors, mini therapy horses, the UF Gator Mascots, the UF Gator Band, and more.

Any proceeds from this event will go to support our patients and their families receiving brain tumor treatment at UF Health in Gainesville, FL. Such support includes (but is not limited to) lodging assistance, gas cards, help with medication copays, and the purchase of medical equipment not covered by a patient’s insurance. The event is free to attend though there is a small fee to participate in the 5k run/walk.
