Cal Tri Walnut Creek

Cal Tri Walnut Creek is located in central Virginia just 13 miles from Charlottesville where athletes and supporters will get the opportunity to appreciate the virtually unlimited list of things to do in the heart of historic Virginia including visiting Monticello, UVa, the Carter Mountain Orchard, James Monroe’s Highland or the many local wineries.

Sprint athletes swim 400 yards in the 45 acre lake followed by a rolling, 16.6 mile bike course with 1,100’ of elevation capped off with a beautiful and challenging 5K trail run. Olympic athletes swim 1640 yards followed by a rolling, 23 mile bike course with 1,600’ of elevation that ends with a technical 10K run.

Event options include: 7 Olympic distance events (Triathlon, Triathlon Relay, RunBikeRun, SwimBike, SwimRun, 1,640 Yard Swim & 10K Run) and 7 Sprint distance events (Triathlon, Triathlon Relay, RunBikeRun, SwimBike, SwimRun, 400 yard Swim & 5K Run). There is something for everyone!
