Cal Tri Events Crozet Park

Cal Tri Events Crozet Park starts at the Crozet Park ACAC and is the perfect beginner race for athletes who are tri-curious but are still gaining confidence in open water. For those athletes who want no swimming, the duathlon (run/bike/run) is a great option. This family-friendly, community event welcomes family and friends to cheer these great athletes from start to finish!

Sprint triathlon athletes start with a 350 meter seeded, rolling start pool swim followed by a rolling 11.6-mile bike ride with 712’ of elevation before finishing up with a fast and relatively flat 5K. Duathletes start with a fast & flat 1 mile run to spread out the athletes and then ride the previously described 11.6-mile bike course and 5K run.

Event options include Sprint Distance Triathlon, Triathlon Relay, SwimBike, SwimRun, 350 meter Swim & 5K Run as well as a Duathlon (1 mile Run, 11.6-mile Bike & 1 mile Run).
