Bringing up the Rear – Kansas City’s Race to Defeat Colon Cancer

Bringing Up the Rear 5K – Kansas City’s Race to Defeat Colon Cancer is a fun, family-friendly event presented by the Andrew J. Somora Foundation to raise money to help local families facing the financial burdens of a colon cancer diagnosis. The 5K course is scenic, flat and fast! Registration includes complimentary pancakes from Chris Cakes and breakfast cocktails immediately following the race.

While having fun running, walking and/or eating pancakes, we are also remembering those that we have lost to colon cancer, celebrating those that have survived this disease and reminding everyone of the symptoms of colon cancer and the importance of screening and early detection.

Race begins promptly at 9am at English Landing Park, Parkville, Missouri.
