Boston Triathlon

The Columbia Threadneedle Investments Boston Triathlon captures the essence of the city – historical, scenic, fun and exciting. As a participant in the triathlon, you’ll swim in the fresh waters of Dorchester Bay, bike through Boston city streets, and run along the scenic Southie shoreline.

The swim course starts and finishes on DCR Carson Beach near the DCR McCormack Bathhouse and follows a trapezoidal path to the finish line. The flat loop course is on a number of wide, car-free roads, including DCR William Day Blvd. The entire bike course will be closed to vehicular traffic and managed by state troopers. The run course highlights the best of Boston, with spectacular views of the harbor and the Boston Skyline. It is a loop course that finishes back at DCR Mother’s Rest Field.
