A challenging & stunning point to point race through the Cascade Mountains, location of the most Bigfoot sightings in the World!
The Bigfoot races explore the incredible Cascade Mountains. Runners will experience such varied terrain as the otherworldly Volcanic Mount St. Helens (erupted in 1980), lava fields, long mountaintop ridge lines with stunning forest, mountain and lake views, deep old growth forests as green and thick as a rainforest, misty mountain tops, and cross streams on their way to completing this massive, life changing event.
Bigfoot 40 Mile
Please keep in mind that this race requires a certain amount of self sufficiency. Due to the extreme remoteness of the course, lack of road crossings (none) our aid stations are an average of 15 miles apart.
The Bigfoot 40 mile begins at Marble Mountain Sno Park and fully circumnavigates Mt. St. Helens, taking you on a journey through the desolation zone of this incredible volcano that erupted in 1980. Runners will experience lava fields, stream crossings, old growth forests, and mountain running at its best! The route is 100% single track trails.
Bigfoot 20 Mile
Please keep in mind that this race requires a certain amount of self sufficiency. Due to the extreme remoteness of the course, lack of road crossings (none) there is only one aid station for the 20 miler.
