Big Hoopla 4 Miler

When it comes to college basketball, THE ROAD STARTS HERE! Dayton, Ohio is host to the annual NCAA First Four which kicks off March Madness!

Here in Dayton we make it more than just about basketball, it’s four full days of activities and the start of all those festivities is the Big Hoopla 4 Miler. On Selection Sunday, we start the day with a 4 miler through lovely Dayton right along the river and around Welcome Stadium, home of the University of Dayton Flyers!

Set in beautiful Carillon Historical Park the venue alone warrants participating! The route offers lovely views of Dayton and runs along and crosses the Great Miami River! This race also includes beautiful finisher medals, First Four tickets to age group winners, free race photos, great post-race food and a live DJ to keep the energy high. This will be the early spring race you’ve been looking for!
