Come show off your super run power at the Baywood 5k Super Run! All ages welcome. Hosted by Baywood Elementary PTA.
Start your year off by running or walking in a super hero themed 5k with our Los Osos/ Baywood Community! This event is a fundraiser for Baywood Elementary’s bilingual garden education program in partnership with One Cool Earth, and is hosted by Baywood Elementary’s PTA.
Bring a blanket, chairs, or both to set up on the field, so after the fun run you are ready to eat pancakes picnic style! Pancakes will start being served at 10:15 am.
Dress in your super hero gear, but dont worry if you dont have any. If you select the Super Swag ticket during your registration, you will receive a cape, event t-shirt, and more! For the 5k only option, registration will be open through race day, but participants will not have the option to purchase a shirt. All paid registrations will have the option to receive a ticket for a pancake breakfast following the run, and have the option to purchase a commemorative Super Run 5k t-shirt. Children under the age of 5 are free, but will not receive a shirt. Additional food tickets for spectators can be purchased for $5 each during online registration. Same day registration will be available for the 5k, but same day registrants will not receive a shirt.
Baywood PTA is excited to cheer you on as we get many steps closer to our goal of providing our Baywood Bears with a super garden and education.
About the 5k
The 5k route begins at the Los Osos Middle School track on the south end of the school and participants will loop around the school 4 times to complete the course, ending back at the track for the pancake picnic. The majority of the course is on the trail or sidewalks, and will have volunteers cheering participants on along the way.
Parking is limited near the track so participants are encouraged to park on the north east side of the campus in the parking lot located on South Bay Blvd and El Morro Avenue.
