    Almost completely flat course, with some great views at times. You’re not literally running on the beach, but parts of the course have enough sand to slow you down slightly. Tons of water/gatorade stations and good snacks at the end (more races should have sliced everything bagels). People were tightly bunched at the start and the sound system was not great so it was hard to hear instructions.
