Asaayi Mountain Runs

Located in the heart of the Chuska Mountains, the Asaayi Mountain Run take place at Camp Asaayi in the Bowl Canyon Recreation Area. The Asaayi Mountain Runs trail races will be held on the dirt roads and trails around Lake Asaayi and will include 10K and 20K races. Both races loop around Lake Asaayi and climb in to the surrounding hills, with beautiful sweeping views of the valley 500-feet below. There is a major descent in the second half of both races and a gradual climb back to the finish line (and your car) over the final ½ mile.

Your registration includes a light pre-race breakfast between 8:00-10:00, on-course support (including energy gels, sweet and salty snacks and fresh fruit), and post-race food. Rustic camping is available at Camp Asaayi on Friday night and there is indoor camping in the Camp Asaayi lodge on the camp. There will be portajohns at the site.
