757 Road Race (fka Virginia Running Festival)

Run the 7 Miler as part of the 757 Road Race! This flat, fast course will take you through the campus of Christopher Newport University and along the James River and Mariners’ Museum.

Or enjoy a flat and fast 5K through the stunning campus of Christopher Newport University! Everyone is encouraged to sign up for the Alumni 5K!
Runners do not need to be an Alumni of Christopher Newport University to sign up.

Whether you’re the youngest runner in your family, or competing in the 757 Challenge, the 700 Meter Run is going to be fun! Starting and finishing at the Klich Alumni House, you’ll run 700 meters through the campus of Christopher Newport University.

Take on all 3 races as part of the 757 Challenge! You’ll receive all your swag from the 7 Miler and 5K races, along with a special 757 Challenge Bib and extra finisher medal!

You’ll receive a short sleeve, custom lifestyle tee, finisher medal, craft brews from Tradition Brewing Co., chili from Uno’s (vegetarian options available) and more!

Once you cross the finish line, the party begins! Take advantage of our free sports massages, play lawn games, enjoy craft brews and listen to live music.
