4 Miler at Garret Mountain

The 4 Miler at Garret Mountain will feature a 4 mile run on a USA Track and Field (USATF) certified race course, as well as a 1.5-mile trail walk and kids’ dashes. A Technical T-shirt will be provided to all 4 Miler runners and Trail Walkers while supplies last. Enjoy a DJ, refreshments, random prizes, kids activities and more!

100% of dollars raised from the 4 MILER goes to St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Paterson, NJ. For the past eight years, the 4 MILER at Garret Mountain run/walk event has significantly supported the hospital’s Child Life Department which offers high-impact holistic therapies to the hospital’s pediatric patients, including art therapy, horticultural therapy and animal-assisted therapy. These therapies are funded by outside support and shown to be highly beneficial in mitigating the negative effects of hospitalization, particularly for patients with chronic, life-threatening or terminal illness. Since the event’s inception in 2012, the 4 MILER has raised over $430,000 for the pediatric patients of St. Joseph’s and the event has become the largest financial contributor of the Child Life Department.
