Plenty of parking choices near the start (mostly pay options). Lots of space on Broad St for warming up before the run. There are a few appreciable hills on the course, nothing too crazy and they’re not very long. A significant decrease in elevation during the final mile, so whether you kick or not it’s likely to be your fastest mile. The after party was nice–food & drink options, jumbo projection to watch other finishers, with space to find an area and hang out. Bib color was somehow related to age, but there was still a need to get in a line to confirm age, and then a separate line to get a beer–I found that both frustrating & time consuming (20-30 mins to get a beer at the time I went). The party area was around a 10-15 minute walk from the starting area where we parked, so not too bad. It was fun the entire time & I look forward to making the Richmond half a yearly event for myself.
