This race was a lot fun. There was nice expo held inside the ballpark. The race was well run. I liked how the 5k started first and there was about a 40 minute break before the 10k started. The 10k did 2 laps of the 3k course. Finishing in the ballpark was a nice ending.

I ran this race for the second time. It was even better than I remembered it. The weather was beautiful and the course is amazing. There is a large downhill section which makes it appear easy. The challenge comes the last 3 miles when it is semi flat with a few small uphills. But after such a long downhill it can burn. Vacation Races are awesome. This is my 5th time running with them. They are my favorite race series.

I liked how flat the race was. Most races I have done have been hilly, so it was nice to get on a flat course. It is held at a good time of year where it is not too hot or cold. Along the route there were different musicians playing & a festive atmopshere afterwards. I love my cowbell medal.

This was my 3rd race with Vacation Races. Just like the others this one was amazing. The feeling at Vacation Races is very positive and fun. Everyone is encouraging and uplifting. It felt even more special because it was the first year. The course was beautiful and challenging. There was a mix of road, gravel, and some trail. The hill was challenging, but doable. Plenty of aid stations were offered throughout the race, even in the challenging areas.

There were wonderful ocean views on the course. Parts of the race were nice, but a lot of the time the paved path was broken up and was uncomfortable to run on. There were very few participants, so after about the first 4-5 miles there really weren’t any other runners around. I probably wouldn’t run this one again.

Vacation Races always puts on a wonderful event. It seems they think of everything. The race is beautiful and near so many beautiful hiking areas. It was too difficult, a majority of the race is downhill. It gets challenging in miles 10-13 because that is when it is flat. I didn’t expect it to be that much different, but it was. Plenty of aid stations along the way.

This was my first half. I loved it. Access to the starting line was very easy. My friend and I were able to walk to the start line from our hotel. It was a challenging course for me as I live a a low elevation area. I loved the race.
