Flat course, good time
Des Moines Marathon
Former local, first race. It was a good time, well set up downtown and along the course. Lots of great signs, lots of water, good places for family to watch … MORE
Former local, first race. It was a good time, well set up downtown and along the course. Lots of great signs, lots of water, good places for family to watch multiple times. This course was almost perfectly flat, and a nice mix of parkland and downtown area, with especially great views of the capitol.
Could have been clearer signage downtown, hard to find restrooms, bag check etc. in crowds.
