The course of the 10k was very good, not too many hills at all. Staff was very friendly every step of the way.
I couldn’t believe the value of this race. From the entry fees, post race offerings, and the free kids race. We hope to make this race an annual event for the family.
Training for a race can be hard, especially if it means runs without the family. I appreciated the fact they have a Kid’s run too. My kids ran 25 miles BEFORE the day of the event, and another 1.2 the day of the event. They loved being “marathon finishers”.

I’m not a runner. I do my best to jog and when needed I walk. The Lincoln Marathon (and half in my case) was my first race, so I didn’t appreciate the just how unique it is to have SO MANY people lined up across every mile of the route cheering for you. It totally keeps you motivated.
