I have done this race 5 times. I was disappointed when they took the full marathon away, but I enjoy the half marathon as well. It is a beautiful and challenging course with the right amount of hills. I love how it never feels crowded, but you are never alone, either. The course is plenty wide for all runners Sobyou never feel like you are fighting for room. There are plenty of water/Gatorade stations along the way. After the race, the free cookout and warm and cozy campfires were a great way to recover! I will definitely be back next year! My sister and I have made this race an annual tradition.
