I have lived in WA my whole life and traveled to Snoqualmie/North Bend over 100 times easily. I have never heard of or been to the middle fork trail, but now I cannot wait to go back. Such a beautiful trail with rolling elevation and maybe 1 big-ish hill. Views of the Snoqualmie river, mountains, trees, and technical terrain made this race something that I want to come back and do every year!

Day 3 after tiger peak and I am starting to feel my quads again! Tiger peak has some insane climbs the first 3 miles is all uphill for a nice bit of elevation gain! The trails were gorgeous and well kept. Aid stations had ice for the heat wave and any kind of snack and drink you could ever want. This course was brutal but evergreen puts on such a spectacular event. I would recommend!

I competed in a group of 4 and ran legs 2, 6, and 10. I had the best time going from start point to finish point with my friends. The atmosphere was incredible and the starting points were marked really clear. I really recommend getting your crew together and doing this relay because you will not regret it!

I have lived in Tacoma 4 years and have never walked/ran across the narrows bridge, that was an incredible experience! After the narrows, there was a large hill followed up by running through a series of neighborhoods and more hills before coming into point defiance. the first aid station was not until mile 7 or so which was difficult. It was great running through point defiance park and point Ruston.
I really enjoyed the race overall and am glad it was my first marathon, hills and all!

I ran the 30k for this race and had a really great experience. Parking was clear, the course was mapped out clearly, the aid stations had great volunteers, and the scenery was beautiful. The race ended with a nice little uphill challenge which was the most difficult part of the course! I really enjoyed my experience and the shirt/medal/snacks after were top notch!

the course was clearly marked and the aid stations were nicely placed throughout the course. Due to rain, the course was so muddy and wet in some parts but it was a beautiful run-through dash point. By some sort of miracle, I did not fall and that was my second goal aside from finishing! Would do it again, planning on doing again! Such a fun experience for my fist ever trail run.

The view from Seward Park was gorgeous, I live in Tacoma so I see Mount Rainier all the time, but this view was spectacular. The parking lot fills up quickly so either arrive early or be prepared to park on the street. Orca running was incredibly organized, picking up my bib, gear, and checking in took less than 10 minutes. The course was clearly marked with lots of volunteers to help! I had an amazing experience, even though there were a few hills!

The organization of this race was great, especially for 30,000 or so people it flowed wonderfully! Running through DC was a great way to see the city and all of the sights. There was not one moment of the whole 13 miles that was silent. Between the bands, runners, and people cheering on the sideline the atmosphere was electric. The hill on mile 6 or 7 is a doozy and took me out for a little, but overall a very doable course. I had an awesome time!
