Getting in line pre-dawn on a gorgeous Sunday morning and being surrounded with so many sweet, enthusiastic, helpful fellow riders was a sure sign that it was going to be a great ride. Watching the sun come up over the water, gliding past gleeful volunteers handing us water, and at the end of the ride, seeing elite runners begin the course. It’s an incredible event (which I’ve done many times now) and I am to do it for as long as I am able. 10 out of 10.
