I’ve ran this race for the past 4 years and plan to run till I no longer can. The early November race is prime to put your summer miles to the test. The weather has been agreeable, but that is always subject to change. There is plenty of community support; drum lines, dj’s, live bands, and more. There are plenty of pacers from the Olympic qualifying standard to 6 hrs. Along with half marathon pacers. The post race area has plenty of space blankets, snacks, and hats for each distance. After the race, go to the YMCA that you passed at mile 2 and enjoy a free shower. This is a race that shouldn’t be passed over.
